Getting Here​​

  • Limited ferry service will be operating for the 2022 season for customers using RLR services (e.g.,  cabin guests or overnight equipment usage). SCL will REQUIRE passengers reserve with RLR in advance as there will be limited availability and gear restrictions in place

  • Aligning with USCG and federal mandates, masks will be required on the SCL ferry

  • SCL ferry will be collecting passenger fees again for the 2022 season, cash only please

Arrival by Boat and Truck

Turn off I-5 at Burlington and drive east on Highway 20, 65 miles, turn on Diablo Dam Road between milepost 127 and 128. (or from Winthrop, drive west on Highway 20, 68 miles). Cross Diablo Dam, turn right, and park nearby at the Ross Lake Resort parking lot. Board the boat, which will take you to the end of Diablo Lake. You'll be met by our truck there to take you from Diablo Lake to Ross Lake (around the Ross Dam). Resort Truck - $20.00 round trip fare per person.

Arrival by Hiking

Park your car on HWY 20 at milepost 134 (the Ross Lake/Dam trailhead) and hike 1 mile down the trail. At the end of the trail turn right onto the gravel road. Follow the road down to the lake (you will see the Resort across the lake), and call us from the phone (dial 18-31974) on the last power pole by the side of the road. $3.00 per person for a quick boat ride across the lake to the resort for people staying in the cabins or renting boats.

  • Please note to leave your vehicle(s) empty at trailheads to reduce the risk of break-ins
